Electronic Medication Administration - EMAR
ECP eMAR is one of the finest eMAR products available for tracking medication orders and treatments. Paper MARs, reconciliation of changing medications and difficult training are a thing of the past. With our easy to use interface, you will be able to convert to eMAR and it's many advantages almost overnight. New users can be trained in less than an hour. Through the use of our alerts, reminders and triggers, medication errors, missed follow-ups as well as poor documentation will be a thing of the past.
ECP also integrates with most major pharmacy software. For those with this live integration, when your LTC pharmacy enters a new order or creates a change order, DC or hold, ECP is automatically updated. You can set auto reorders when a PRN med reaches a certain quantity or staff can easily be given a one click ability to remind you to reorders things like eye drops and creams. You can then reorder these items with one click to your LTC pharmacy or even send an email to family members or other suppliers. No more faxes and phone calls. No more calling your pharmacy on the weekend to fill an order that was overlooked. Nurses can remotely interact with the medications from remote locations or even from home. Additional functionality include the ability to print out a highly compliant traditional MAR for review, surveyors, pharmacy and doctors. An online MAR review form allows you to quickly review all your resident's MARs. For multiple locations, you can quickly switch between homes and between residents. Our emergency face sheet also shows all current medications and last administration time as well as recent vitals. Calendar views of medications for specific residents or even employees which can assist in finding trends in PRN usage, exceptions and refusals as well follow-ups and interactions. Custom reports can also be created for things such as listings of all narcotics, psycho tropic medications and more.
Medications can also have goals and outcomes and structured reviews and can optionally be included within the resident's active care plan.

User Defined Reports and Assessments
User definable reports as well as an included fall and incident report make it easy to file reports, schedule follow-up cares, and also bring up previously filed reports. You are free to create as many cutomizable reports that match your needs. Based on the answers within these reports, logic can be applied to auto trigger care plan items as well as other uses. Examples can include full medical or nursing assessments, pre-qualification assessment, fall and risk assessments, change of condition report, acuity tests, menu change request, etc.

Easy Vital Analysis
Use Extended Care Professional to help you track vital signs such as blood pressure, blood sugar, pulse, weight, temperature, respirations, and pulseox. When your staff marks vital signs down when giving medication or performing cares it will automatically be ready to be reported on. Reporting on vital signs has never been so easy. Select the resident, select the vital signs, pick the date spread and click a button. You now have all the vitals data in an easy to view graph that is ready to be printed or emailed to the resident's provider.

Quick & Easy Nursing/Observation Notes
The feature we call "Recent Notes" does a quick sweep of the cares, medications, observations, or any internal notes that were inputted on a given day and puts it into one easy to use interface. With one click of a button you can get up to speed on what happened at your facility during the day.

Change Of Condition Analysis
Our system allows you to specify dollar amounts, amount of time or number of units for each medication and care you setup. With this information Extended Care Professional can crunch the numbers for you and give you a graph representing the amount of money, time, or units each resident takes per month. Use this information to easily justify increases to the resident if they are on a 3rd party billing or private pay plan.
